Spun yarn is a blend of Dyneema®, fiberglass, nylon and cotton for the ultimate in cut/abrasion protection, durability, and even increased grip. Our unique spinning process combines four fibers for a yarn that solves the problem of that slippery feel inherent in Dyneema® yarn.
Cut resistance is an outstanding ASTM level four, and abrasion resistance is high as well: gloves endured 1122 cycles on the Taber machine before wear through. When abrasion resistance is this
high, cut resistance is boosted considerably over the lifespan of the glove, since less wear-through from abrasion preserves the overall fiber for longer-term cut protection. Salt-and-pepper color hides dirt and grime for longer wear and greater cost savings.
